This was done from a photo I have hung onto for a while, wanting to capture this memory in a painting. I am thankful I waited until I began working in soft pastel to do it. The vibrancy of the colors of pure pigment just wouldn’t have been achievable with another medium. I am super thankful for Schmincke pastel olive green 085H! This was the view from our house for one week of our Northern Ireland stay a few years back.
